Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully the Terms and Conditions, hereinafter "Terms", of use of the META Portal (Technological Educational Medium for Learning) of Paraguay Educa, a non-profit association created on July 25, 2008, in Asunción, Paraguay.

User

For the purposes of these Terms, a user is considered any natural person, legal entity, or public entity, state or not, that enters the Portal Meta to obtain information, use its contents and technological resources through computer applications.

Access and Use Conditions

The META Portal is free for the user, who agrees to use it respecting current national regulations, good customs, respect for the property of resources, respect for privacy and public order at all times.

The user will refrain from using the META Portal for illicit purposes, prohibited in these Terms, that may harm in any way the rights and interests of the META Portal, Paraguay Educa, other users or third parties, that may damage, disable, overload, deteriorate or prevent its normal use.

Paraguay Educa will establish the percentage of resources that the user can access without registering. User registration is required to exercise full use of it, which contemplates that the user must understand that the information provided by the META Portal is not considered exhaustive, complete or with the responsibility of satisfying all user needs. On some occasions, the information contained in the portal will simply be intended so that the user can access the greatest amount of data on the topic of their interest.

User Obligation

The user agrees to:

Not damage, disable or deteriorate the computer systems that support the META Portal, those of Paraguay Educa, or other users. Nor the contents that are presented in them.

Not interfere with or interrupt the access and use of the portal, servers or networks.

Develop, create comments and content that do not affect the META Portal, Paraguay Educa or other users.

In case of non-compliance, the META Portal may act by the means it deems appropriate against any use of the portal that opposes these Terms, infringes or violates intellectual property rights, as well as any other right, being able to withdraw or suspend, at any time and without prior notice to the user.

The META Portal reserves the right to modify at any time and without prior notice the design, content and services offered, being able to interrupt or cancel any of the resources or services presented, incorporated in it, without responsibility to users.

Sign up

To be a user of the META Portal it is not mandatory to complete the registration form. Notwithstanding this, in case you choose or must register to use any service, you must complete the form with your personal information accurately and precisely ('User Registration').

Except in fields where otherwise indicated, answers to questions about user registration are voluntary. Failure to respond could limit the customization of corresponding services. The registered user undertakes to notify Portal META immediately and decisively of any unauthorized use of their password. Portal META reserves the right to reject any registration request or to cancel a previously accepted registration.

The META Portal reserves the right to send to the email address indicated by the user in the registration form, information it considers relevant to its users.

Data Privacy

The automated collection of personal data is intended to maintain a fluid relationship between the user and the META Portal, as well as the management, administration, expansion and improvement of the services that users wish to use.

The META Portal may transfer user data to entities dependent on the Paraguayan State under legal regulations.

The META Portal collects general information such as the amount and frequency of interaction between users and the portal. Such information is used only for statistical purposes, to determine which resources or services are used and thus be able to improve them accordingly and constantly innovate.

Minority Age

Users under 13 years of age require parental or legal guardian consent to register on the META Portal page, being them who accept the Terms of adhering in their name and that of their son/daughter or ward.

Intellectual Property

All trademarks, trade names or distinctive signs of any kind that may appear on the portal are property of Paraguay Educa or third parties, without it being understood that the use or access of the portal attributes to the user any right over said trademarks, trade names or distinctive signs of any kind.

All resources developed by users and uploaded and shared by them on META will automatically carry the Creative Commons Attribution license (CC BY-SA), with the user being able to additionally decide whether or not the license allows its commercial use (CC BY-NC). Not indicating the commercial option will automatically mean choosing the most permissive license (CC BY-SA).
